Every Miss United Icon contestant competes in three required phases of competition. Each phase is designed to highlight confidence, personality, communication, and stage presence while giving every contestant the opportunity to shine.
Evening Gown
Contestants will model a formal evening gown. Judging is based on facial beauty, stage presence, poise, confidence, and overall presentation. Contestants are not judged on the cost or designer of their gown, but on how well it complements their personality, fit, and overall appearance.
Fun Fashion
Show the judges your personality through confidence, style, and stage presence in this upbeat modeling competition. Fun Fashion is your opportunity to express yourself while showcasing your individuality.
Interview
Each contestant will submit a one-page resume prior to the national competition. Judges will review your resume before your interview and use it to guide the conversation. Questions may be based on the information you provide, including your interests, achievements, goals, hobbies, leadership experiences, community service, and personal accomplishments.
